How Do I Get My Thermostat To Work? Is There Anyone Out There Good With Electrical Stuff?

Nov 19th, 2009 by Thermo

I’m not talking about on the outside where you push it to whatever temp you want it to. My electric furnace has always worked and my husband had to mess with it while putting up new paneling in our hallway. Now it doesn’t kick on when I move the temperature thing on the outside of the little box. I assume that when I remove the cover I would have to move something on the inside and I need to know what to do to get it back on. Thanks!

I think he may have tripped a breaker. Do you know if the thermostat is line voltage or low voltage. If it’s line (120 v) then you have to be careful, check for a tripped breaker or blown fuse. I need a little more info to answer correctly. If it’s low he could have wired it wrong. Send additional info.
