What Temperature Should I Set My Furnace To?

I am not talking about the thermostat setting, imtalking about the temperature stting of the air that comes out of the air vents. I saw a place on my furance where i could set the temperature but im not sure what to set it to?

    I have never heard of this but you need to consider that the air will rapidly lose its heat to surrounding air. Therefore if you want the house to be 70 you have to have air temp that will overcome the loss in order to make a gain on the existing air. 100-130 should do it.

    I wouldn’t touch the settings on your furnace, as they could affect it’s performance.
    If you think you should, contact your service tech. to see if he thinks you should.

    you may be looking at the fan & limit switch, which determines the temperature in the heat exchanger at which the fan starts and also shuts the furnace off if that air temp gets too high. If your furnace seems to be working ok, I wouldn’t change it.
