I live with some one who just loves to crank the heat on the thermostat.Jeez, I can’t stand that.I dress like it’s summer unless I go some where.I have triad sitting down and talking about it,but the person is more on the controlling side…god for bid your always wrong he’s always write. And what spooks me is if you lock some thing up he always can get in …and fast like he’s one of those criminals you see on tv. No I can’t afford live any where els.Believe me or I would.What could I passably do to get the thermos to go only so high no matter what?

You can easily adjust a thermostat. If you have a digital thermostat it can be set not to go above your desired temperature. I hate it when it’s too hot in the house, it makes me feel lethargic … good luck.

If you get a digital one ( I have one), You can change the settings not to go above a certain temperature. Mine is set at 72.

You can disconnect that thermostat from the furnace and install another one in a hidden location.

put a plastic lock box over it and hold the key. That person sounds like an idiot.
